Ms. Tranelle Pollard was announced as the 2024 RPS Teacher of the Year on the morning of Wednesday, January 17th, sat in surprise on the auditorium stage at Dogwood Middle School. RPS Superintendent Jason Kamras, School Board Representatives, and Dogwood Middle School Principal Christopher Jacobs and Dogwood MS students and teachers surprised her in the auditorium for the announcment. Ms. Pollard currently serves as the Lead School Counselor at Dogwood Middle School, where the entire school gathered in the auditorium to join in the celebration.
